SET THE ORDER AFLAME!
Center for Nationalist Studies presents
“Clash of Conservatism and Radical Ideas”
The first of a four part lecture series.
After the First Quarter Storm of 1970 and the Diliman Commune of 1971, then fascist-dictator Marcos enacted Martial Law, starting a series of continuing struggles for democracy, yielding decades of unrest, especially within the youth and students sector.
After the Martial Law was “lifted” in 1981, the Center for Nationalist Studies (CNS), along with the University Student Council, was born as a research wing of the USC. However, CNS did not only served as a purely academic wing, it served as one of the foundations of the academe for progressive literature.
The Center for Nationalist Studies invites you to join the lecture series in part of our 30th anniversary. Join us in fighting for a Nationalist, Scientific and Mass-Oriented Educational System.
The speaker will be Ma’am Sarah Raymundo, CNS and Student Alliance for the Advancement of Democratic Rights in UP (STAND-UP) Alumni and current Center for International Studies Professor.
